Seasons greetings from team DOXA! 2018 has been a year of immense change and growth for our small but tenacious team. Early in the year, DOXA  adopted a horizontal management style that employs active collaboration and collective decision-making. Autonomy, a shared sense of purpose, and a deep respect for democracy are hallmarks of how DOXA has always operated.

Submit your film to the 18th Annual DOXA Documentary Film Festival will take place from May 2-12, 2019.

DOXA is an international documentary festival featuring new work selected by a jury, as well as thematic programming presented by independent curators. We are seeking submissions of short to feature length documentaries for our 2019 festival.

Join us on Monday November 5th for Vancouver premiere of Milford Graves Full Mantis! We've partnered with Modulus Festival (produced by our friends at Music on Main) to present this lively new music doc about avant-garde percussionist Milford Graves. 

With bittersweetness, we announce that our fabulous Development Manager Tara Flynn will be leaving the organization to pursue a new career opportunity this fall.  Tara has been a vital part of the DOXA team since April 2015, and we're so proud that her work in the arts community has not gone unnoticed!
