Rush tickets may be available at the door when all advance tickets have been sold. A generous allotment of seats are reserved for passholders. Any unclaimed seats will be released just prior to the screening on a first come first served basis.
DOXA presents films that have not been seen by Consumer Protection BC. Under BC law, anyone wishing to see these unclassified films must be a member of The Documentary Media Society and at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise stated. Films that are open to youth under 18 can be found here.
When you purchase an annual membership for $2, you are entitled to attend DOXA screenings, provided you show your membership card and your purchased ticket.

General Admission Tickets: $13 (weekday evenings and weekends)
Weekday Matinee Tickets: $11 (weekday films starting at 5:30pm or earlier)
Student / Senior (65+) Tickets: $2 discount from general admission prices for any film screening except matinees, screenings at the Museum of Vancouver, and the opening and closing night films at the Vancouver Playhouse.
Special Presentation: $15 (all screenings at the Vancouver Playhouse and Museum of Vancouver)

REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
All sales are final. DOXA only offers refunds in cases of technical failure.
Tickets may be exchanged for a $3 service fee for each ticket exchanged. This must be done in person at a DOXA Box Office at least one hour before screening time. Exchanges can only be issued to the original purchaser with a valid picture ID. Complimentary or contest tickets cannot be exchanged.
ADVANCE TICKET SALES
Ticket purchase before May 5 is available online by going to the film of your choosing and clicking on the BUY TICKETS button on the left column. Online tickets are available for purchase up to two hours in advance of the screening. If the screening takes place within two hours, tickets must be purchased at the venue box office.
TICKETS AT THE VENUES
VIFF’s Vancity Theatre and The Cinematheque (May 6 to 15)
Tickets are available for all festival screenings. Box office opens 30 minutes prior to the first screening of the day at the venue. We will accept Cash, Mastercard, VISA and Debit.
Vancouver Playhouse (May 5, 11, 12, and 14)
Tickets are available only for the screening at that venue, on that day. Box office opens 60 minutes prior to the screening. We will accept Cash, Mastercard and VISA. (No Debit)
SFU's Goldcorp Centre for the Arts (May 7)
Tickets are available only for the screening at that venue, on that day. Box office opens 30 minutes prior to the first ticketed event at the venue. The box office will not be open during free screenings and events. We will accept Cash, Mastercard, VISA and Debit.
Will Call opens 60 minutes prior to screenings at the Vancouver Playhouse, and 30 minutes prior for all other screenings. Please arrive in advance to allow time to pick up your order. You must present your ID for pick up.
All venues are wheelchair accessible. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the DOXA office to make note of space requirements for advance ticket purchases. Attendants accompanying people with disabilities will be admitted at no cost.
