Films will be accompanied by featured musician JESSE ZUBOT. Jesse is a member of Juno Award winning groups Zubot & Dawson and Great Uncles of the Revolution and was named the 2003 National Jazz Awards Violinist of the Year. Zubot has worked with such artists as François Houle, Torsten Muller, Peggy Lee, Kelly Joe Phelps, Hawksley Workman, Veda Hille, The Be Good Tanyas and Stars. His recent solo album Dementia has been hailed by the Vancouver Sun as "an extraordinary multi-instrumental abstraction." Visit www.jessezubot.com for more information.

Jesse Zubot's performance will be followed at the reception by the rhythmic sounds of UNCLE BOMB, a four-piece nu-jazz collective interweaving strong grooves with modal-inspired melodies.
