Documentaries are a great educational tool, helping us to learn, appreciate and understand the world around us. Every year, DOXA presents the finest documentary content from Canada and beyond. Over the course of the festival, audiences will have the opportunity to watch a range of independent and innovative documentaries and participate in panel discussions, public forums, and educational programs.

BC's creative sector is a crucial economic driver in our province, and we are proud of its ongoing success. Film festivals, such as DOXA, play an important role in showcasing the diversity and strength of our creative sector. That's why our government is proud to support DOXA through Creative BC and the BC Arts Council.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the filmmakers behind DOXA. Your passion and hard work shine through in the powerful stories you bring to the screen. Thank you for shedding light on important social issues and sparking conversations that matter.
